A Word from the Founder
Since my youth, it has been an endeavor of mine to get help in life, then help others. Although my teenage years had a lot of positives, I was walking through life with some very destructive forces. Depression, addictions, violence, and feeling lost had taken a toll on my teenage years.
I’ll never forget a certain day of my senior year in High School. I watched a T.V. preacher who let me know that God is like a father ready to bring back a wayward son. I felt hope that God would forgive my sins and help change my wayward life. God helped me end the destructive forces that were hindering my life, and he even helped me grow in very productive ways. These changes didn’t happen overnight. In fact, the adventure of growth still continues.
Although I give the most credit to God, I am very aware of how much God worked through good people in my life. There are too many people for me to thank. Some people who have had profound influence on my life have been my amazing wife, my children, loving parents, family, pastors, my Church, accountability partners, employers, friends, high school teachers, and many authors that I have yet to meet.
As I attended Church, I was helped by many. After a few years of getting help realigning my life, I became aware of a powerful truth. When we get the help and success we need in life, we should become good at helping others. It would be a very selfish life to get help and then forget all the people around us. One of my most cherished memories is the time I helped a man overcome the temptation to commit suicide. As we sat in his backyard he showed me a rope hanging from a tree that he intended to use to kill himself.
After talking and praying with him, we took the rope down and threw it in the church dumpster. I loved him like a brother, and it was such a good thing to help my brother in his time of need. With great sincerity he thanked me. I was able to show him how much God values his life even when it feels so bad that the only solution seemed like ending it. The feeling of helping people is better than any drug, party, or material possession. I will never quit helping people, knowing how much people have helped me. I will always be grateful to God because He brought love and blessings into my life when I deserved punishment. I’ll never forget the healing that the Lord brought to my spirt, soul, and body.

Isaiah. 60:1-3 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Peace be with you,
